Toni Hettich, Program Director
My husband Aaron and I have three beautiful boys, Kasyn, Knox and Krew. We live over in Brandon and stay busy keeping everyone active in all kinds of activities and sports. I have a passion for working with children from hard places as well as families and staff from diverse backgrounds. God has blessed me with a history and education in caring for others who are in need of little extra love. Alongside my formal education, I am also a TBRI Practitioner, HALO Instructor and MSOYW Facilitator which all comes together to greatly equip me in trauma-informed care and behavioral management. Nothing compares to the support, connection and ministry that Compassion offers. Which is why it's my joy and delight to serve here for many years to come!
Marty Merriman, Spiritual Director
Marty Merriman resides in Sioux Falls with her husband Larry of 37 years. They have five children and five grandchildren. She is passionate about the Word of God, children, family, the New York Yankees, and gardening. Marty and her husband are members of First Evangelical Free Church in Sioux Falls where she is the nursery coordinator and teaches first grade Sunday school. When she thinks about the children and families that CCC serves, she says, “I am excited to let them know the plan God has for their lives and that they can love and trust Him.”

They have one son Isaac.Kathy and Jim are members of First Evangelical Free Church. Working and volunteering at Compassion Child Care continues to be both a blessing and a joy for the Wellendorfs as they observe the children growing and learning more about Jesus.
