Compassion Preschool
Compassion Preschool is a partnership between Compassion Child Care and two churches in Sioux Falls. The first location is at First Evangelical Free church and the second location is at Life Church. Compassion Preschool focuses on your child’s academic, emotional, social and spiritual development. Lesson plans will incorporate Christian teaching and seek to prepare children for kindergarten.
3 year old class:
Tuesday/Thursday AM Class from 8:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
4-5 YEAR OLD CLASS:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday AM Class from 8:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
TUITION:
3 year old class - $95/month
4-5 year old class – $125.00/month
$25 deposit fee to hold spot
Scholarships are available for families. Call or email to review income guidelines and apply for a scholarship
CURRICULUM:
Compassion Preschool utilizes Frogstreet 3’s and Pre-K programs. Frogstreet is a comprehensive, research- based curriculum that integrates sequenced instruction across all developmental domains and is aligned to Head Start Early Learning Framework.
The cornerstones of the curriculum include: 1) Integrated lessons that have a balance of intentional instruction with child-centered learning. 2) Social-emotional development using Conscious Discipline strategies. 3) Differentiated instruction that meets the needs of all learners. This curriculum equips children with a strong readiness and love for learning.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Limited transportation may be available for a fee
Snacks provided
Take-home bag lunch provided upon request
All children will need to bring a backpack and an additional set of clothing

8:45-9:05 am Chapel
9:05 – 9:25 am Greeting Circle Time
9:25 – 9:45 am Bathroom Break & Snack Time
9:45 - 10:30 am Literacy Lessons & Learning Centers
10:30 – 10:45 am Outdoor Learning Time
10:45 - 11:05 am Math/Science/Social Studies/Art Rotation
11:05 – 11:15 am Closing Circle
